1500 - and stop?

This is my 1500 blip. I've been on the site since 2009 but haven't blipped every day.

Yesterday the rumours of problems at BlipCentral became so persistent that I decided I needed to find a second home.

Today the rumour mill is in full flood and talking liquidation. People closer to the centre of Blip tell me it isn't a rumour any more. I'm really sad that this should have happened, and it seems from my angle, to have been a very rapid process. 

I for one would be happy to pay an annual fee for a no frills site, I'm not bothered about badges and photo books, achievements and accolades. I do like keeping up with blippers and using this as my diary. However brief the words are, the pictures immediately take me to where I was and what I was thinking at the time. 

I am concerned for the people that this touches most closely. I hope Blip can be saved, and that the folks who started it all off continue to find a place within it.
