These gentle deer were enjoying the sunshine in the animal park this morning.  As expected, in contrast to yesterday's refusal, Alfred walked  as any self respecting dog should do - proud and eager and alert!  The stags are loosing their antlers, and what's left looks very sore and painful - just bloody stumps.  They do seem to grow over quite quickly though.  It's all so interesting watching the cycle of the seasons.  For the first time this year, I spotted wildflowers.  The trees are in bud, and the birds are singing... And it's WARM!  

Furniture update:  It's not finished.  Saturday's work wore Mr K out, so progress has been slow since then, but we aim to finish by tomorrow evening.  If so, I'll blip it on Thursday!  It's going to be great! :-)
