It's the day that the world over succumbs to a day of commerciality.
The same people who decry Black Friday etc, may well buy pseudo Irish products like Guinness and leprechaun hats and get drunk.

Just get drunk if you want to, but stop pretending you care about St Patrick whilst ignoring your own country's saints.
