Little Minster Street
This is Little Minster Street in Winchester, taken from the High Street. I looked in to check what the light was doing and there were these cheery girls taking a cig break and talking into their phones. It seemed a good blip for the day, especially as the shot I went for wasn't happening.
My blip was planned to be a sight of the crane winching into place the most enormous scaffolding structure which will cover the cathedral's east end while repairs are done to the leaking leadwork. However, according to the TV crew I talked to, the crane hadn't brought the requisite amount of counter-balancing weights, so the event is put off till tomorrow. I might go down at 8am to watch - there again, I might not!
Hope you're all keeping happy and hopeful, lovely blip friends xx
