London 2012 Day 10

More golds - in cycling Jason Kenny added individual sprint gold to his Olympic team title and in equestrian Great Britain captured their first Olympic showjumping gold medal in 60 years, winning a dramatic jump-off against the Netherlands.

In the uneven bars Russia's Aliya Mustafina won the gold medal ahead of Beijing 2008 champion He Kexin of China, but the story from a British point of view was undoubtably that Beth Tweddle at last won her Olympic medal, taking the bronze. The 27-year-old has four world titles and is the most decorated GB gymnast in history. A step back on landing may have cost her higher honours, undoubtedly she has played a major part in the rise in British gymnastics that's been seen at these Games.

In the athletic stadium Britain's Dai Greene missed out on a medal in the final of the 400m hurdles, finishing fourth as American Felix Sanchez took the gold. While Kirani James claimed Grenada's first Olympic gold in history as he won the 400m.
