London 2012 Day 13

Three more golds for Great Britain today. Firstly in the equestrian individual dressage event won Charlotte Dujardin with Laura Bechtolsheimer taking bronze. Secondly Jade Jones in the taekwondo -57kg category beating China's Yuzhuo Hou 6-4 in the final finished off by a fantastic moment as she celebrated victory throwing her head guard skywards with joy. Finally an historic gold for Nicola Adams becoming the first female boxer to win an Olympic gold medal, outclassing Chinese great Ren Cancan in the flyweight final.

In the athletics stadium the outstanding performance of the evening was Kenyan David Rudisha's world record of 1:40.91 to win gold in the 800m while I'm sure the headlines will be stolen by Usain Bolt becoming the first man to retain both Olympic sprint titles, with training partner Yohan Blake in silver and Warren Weir in bronze for a Jamaican clean sweep of in the 200m.
