Time Capsule...

I visited Calke Abbey today with a friend. It's only about an hour away by car, and it was an amazing place. The house and estate was taken over by the National Trust in 1985. Nothing had changed since the 1880s, and the Trust decided to keep it that way, as a country house in decline. 

This is a shot of clothing and strangely, parasols, found in a cupboard as they would have been put away, had the family still been here.
