River Lune at Crook O' Lune
Friday's tends to be visiting projects day and I went to North Lancs to check out a couple. The day was grey again not brill for good autumnal shots. This is Crook O' Lune Bridge famous painted by William Turner. At Crook O' lune the river squeezes through the lower Lune Gorge in two tight hairpin bends. It is a much visited spot on most days with the added attraction of Woodies Snack shack.
