Field ecology!

Another year gone by. Another spring returned.

With all the endless moving around in my life it is always a pleasure to return to the maple and birch forests of northern Michigan every year to assistant teach spring ecology at the University of Michigan Biological Station.

A familiar anchor for me in a sea of ceaseless change. A home to return to.
