Red damselfly.

What a fantastic day.

We got up early to beat the sun a little, thinking we'd only spend a couple of hours in the garden. We ended up spending the whole day pricking out, planting on and planting all the tubs.

We then spotted a couple of small red damselflies chasing each other. The next minute they were quite cheeky infact they stayed at it for about 2 hours - such stamina Made MrS quite jealous. They were soon joined by 4 or 5 others all trying to get in on the action, they also paired up - it was a proper knocking shop round our pond I can tell you!!

At one point they even landed on my head whilst still in full throng - it was quite disturbing I had to cover the kids eyes up - damselfly porn on a Sunday!

I wasn't sure which photo to put on I really like this one too.
