Dried up

We woke to an outside temperature of 2 degrees this morning.  Gosh it was a shock to the system.  Some parts of the town actually had a white frost - far to early for that to happen.  Poor Farmerboy was milking early....and was freezing when he arrived home for breakfast.

This is a dried up seed pod from a granny's bonnet.  The seeds have escaped, leaving open holes in the head. 

It's good news about blipfoto today, although I do feel for Joe and the other blip staff.  Hopefully they will be retained by the new owner(s) and have an input in the future of blipfoto.
