Sheep at the Break of Day

Sheep gaze curiously at the photographer (wondering if I have come to feed them, perhaps?) as the sun rises above the thick morning mist at Auchronie, near Westhill, Aberdeenshire.

Spotted while driving Mrs Catspaw to her work in Aberdeen this morning.

Here's hoping the conditions will be as good as this in a couple of days' time for the eclipse on Friday morning...
