It's that time of year again .....

........to buy the annual plants.

After a doubler at church this morning with Band 2 (minus A'desk - ably replaced by LJ and minus Mrs Mozo, doing her creche rota) Eubers and I tootled off to the garden centre out beyond Strathblane.

After choosing some lovely plants to fill the hanging baskets, and containers with, we treated ourselves to a cream tea and enjoyed sitting out looking over the countryside. I especially enjoyed watching the cows - they are so nosey. They suddenly left their grass munching and headed to where we were eating as if someone had shouted at them, "Hey, cream teas over here lads!"

BBQ for tea - just a modest one tonight.

Blackbird update...... I think the eggs may have hatched. The blackbird is often sitting on the edge of the nest now. Just waiting to hear the sound of chicks.
