Spring bouquet and Blipfoto 'rescue'

Such a fabulous spring bouquet from my wonderful neighbours before they head off on a month's holiday adventure across the globe. 

While all the news of Blipfoto is that it will be rescued this week, the rescue is by USA corporate business, not a home-grown Scottish company. Read the article on this.  Would be very surprised if Polaroid did not start pushing products at blippers - not quite the same ethos as Joe Tree in Edinburgh when he started out. I feel very sorry for the dedicated Scottish team who have lost their jobs. They must be quite dissolutioned after all the hype about everything getting better in partnership with Polaroid. Real shame! For me it added value that this great idea came from a Scottish entrepreneur, provided jobs for Scottish people and was archived by the British Library. I'll be interested to learn in due course where it all went wrong!
