Archery
So today I held a bow for the first time. I've signed up to get beginner lessons once a week, and so has my dad. I'm excited. The bow turned out to be a lot lighter than I expected. Archery such a peaceful sport and hobby. It helps people in
improve their concentration as well as their balance and muscles. Plus, I don't have to use my knees so I can push myself as much as I want to. I can't wait to actually be able to shoot from a distance which is longer than the 3-5 meter distance I seem to have been standing at.
The teacher/coach/human who educated us on archery was great and he made me want to jump into the sport. He seemed to really love what he was doing. Plus, he's well-known in the archery world because he is one of the few people who "brought back" the sport to Turkey. He is the head of the federal archery stuff- I don't even know how to say it in Turkish so I'm not going to try writing it in English. He has many students who are successful in international competitions. So yeah, he's important.
I want to go to the horse stable in Maslak (I don't remember its name) this weekend. I miss riding. It wouldn't hurt to ride once, or maybe just watch others and feed the horses.

Update: After hearing so much about him from my friends in his class, I finally met Mr. Hoovler today. I liked how open he was about his thoughts/opinions. He encourages thinking and arguments. It's unfortunate how his club has been closed down. I would like to be a guest student in their class for one day.
