Shrinking violets?!

The Nearly ex has gone away for a few days so I've got dog walking duties. Cold wind from the north and really cloudy grey day so the walk was a brisk one to keep warm. Just tucked in the south side of a hedge I found some little violets and couldn't resist grovelling on the floor with my iPhone to take a snap. Another flower that promises that spring is very nearly here. The dog was a bit confused about what I was doing though!
