The Avebury Stone Circles have been around since about 2600BC, and as a World Heritage site have the necessary protection to ensure they stay around for future generations to enjoy.

Blipfoto has only been around 10 years, but if the community it has nurtured has anything to do with it, it too will hopefully be around for some time to come. It is also probably one of the few things that could persuade me to come out from behind the camera for a "selfie"
