Mystery

The speaker at WI this evening arrived with several of these mysterious covered boxes. He told us how he and his wife have for many years run a wildlife rescue centre. All the time he was speaking there was a gentle hooting sound coming from one of the covers. Eventually he revealed a huge European Eagle Owl which proceeded to fly around the hall, to the delight of many and the consternation of a few. A hedgehog, three rats, a polecat ferret and a beautiful little barn owl completed to show. Members won't forget this meeting in a hurry!
