Tulip on parade

I love the colour of these tulips and the way that they open up when the sun is out and close up at night. How clever is that?

Today I bought a solar powered pump for my pond. I found it on our local online classified site. I enjoy buying things this way partly because I get to meet some interesting people. Picking the pump up took a long time since we ended up chatting for a long time! The pump isn't quite what I'd hoped but it will provide a nice feature once I have it set up.
