Messing about on the river.

Had a wonderful day today - a belated birthday treat - exploring the River Wey from Godalming down to Guildford.
Watched the horse drawn narrow boat Iona (if you look in large you can probably see the horse under the trees)
Hired a rowing boat from Farncombe boatyard for an hour or so, picnic lunch on the bank whilst feeding ducks, swans and crows!
Visited Shalford where my old narrowboat Wagtail was still moored by the bridge.
Ended the day with a National Trust cream tea at the Heritage Centre at Dapdune Wharf - thoroughly recommended!
