Dog walking heaven

Apart from the snakes (on hot days) and the rabbit bait (in the fenced off areas), this is pretty much doggy heaven. Cousteau enjoys a sniff and a leg stretch. We look for the promised platypus but never see them, of course, although Cousteau did go into a full on point at an echidna down there a while back.

Anyhoo, Cousteau and I took a 2.5km stroll up there yesterday afternoon. It got pretty hot on our way over there, but Cousteau still managed to race to Mr Barking when he arrived to pick us up. Lots of panting once reunited, mind you.

So, Little Miss and I raced up there tonight to take a panoramic pic of 'the view' between showers.

Then home for to see the lovely Mr Barking and Cousteau. We all sat outside and watched an awesome summer storm on the deck.

Dinner now and a dog walk, since it's cooled down a smidge.
