Gala day

Big turnout today. Loads of families, friends, great atmosphere. Spent the day at the funfair. Ewan is a wee bit too young for most rides. I remember that the Meteorite was 30p a go back in Balerno in summer '86 - 2 quid a go now. It was £2 for everything, even for just 5mins on a bouncy castle. The smell of BBQ's throughout the day meant that I couldn't resist one ourselves. I made a Mango Salsa to go with Lemon Chicken kebabs, Spicy Pork ribs and Herby Burgers. Yum.
