Making progress

Here you can see the large chunks of ice lining the edges of this narrow branch of the Susquehanna River (actually called Towanda Creek).  I've been watching this group of ducks for weeks, back to when there was only a small area of the water that wasn't frozen over.  Now they can maneuver freely.  It will be interesting to see how long it takes for the ice chunks to disappear.
