The Wanderer

The Brazilian artist Ana Maria Pachego, who taught at the Art School in the 80's , has a major exhibition of her sculpture and drawings at various sites around the city. This group of figures is in the Cathedral. It's carved out of single huge Oak pieces. I find her work profoundly unsettling.
