Regarding the ongoing survival of Blip I fear that a change to the existing business model will be inevitable.  The existing model was obviously not generating enough income from membership fees alone so something has to change.  I would not be surprised to see an introduction of either some, all or a mixture of pay-as-you-publish, no free access or advertising.

Whoever invests in or purchases Blip is going to need to see some return on their money.
