Prevailing wind.

I love trees like this where you the impact of the weather over years of storms, the prevailing wind direction in this case would be south westerly.  The Solway Firth was looking wonderful earlier on today and I am hoping there will be clear skies for the partial eclipse on Friday, so fingers crossed.
