in the mist

The "Dawn Chorus" kicked off at the crack of a Sparrows fart, and there was mist everywhere with little or nothing to be seen.
Now there's a challenge, photograph something you can't see.
So I was up and out and in to the woods, but I couldn't see the wood for the trees er mist. 
Lymm Damn seemed like the only solution.
(Manual Focus - took me ages to work that one out!)
Then Work beckoned like a Dickensian Beadle.
It's been a long week.

I'll have to try this again sometime....
