Waiting

I'm Angry, upset, frustrated, worried, etc etc..
We went to visit my dad in hospital hoping to know when the operation to clear the brain bleed would happen and they were just about to take him into theatre so we came home thinking he'd be several hours. I just rang the hospital to see how it went and he still hasn't been done!! We could have spent some time with him!! Something must have happened in the minutes after we left to stop him having the operation so why did they not ring us to come back? Don't know when to go back now. I nearly fell asleep at the wheel yesterday so my husband took a day off work to take me today. It's an hour and a half away, in good traffic. Not a quick trip! My mum is staying with my sister - she's half an hour from there so at least they can get there quicker if need be.. *sigh* :-/
