But is it Art ?

Back to work today, and very busy all round.

On the way back from Manchester late afternoon I called in at the Venus building opposite the Trafford Centre. There is a public exhibition of proposals, today and Saturday, for "Trafford Waters", prior to a planning application being submitted to Trafford - 3000 homes and 1 million sq ft of offices. The consultation zone covers a wide area of both Trafford and Salford, the site itself is a very large area extending from the Trafford Centre to the Ship Canal.

The exhibition is on the empty fourth floor, with views all around. This sculpture outside is I suppose meant to represent three venuses. Henry Moore it is not, more like those curious naked woman lampstands that can be found in some department stores.

Maybe they are blippers. They have outstretched arms and are holding hands, after all !
