Still holding up!

My Mother's Day roses are still hanging in there!
I had a really busy day today at work. It was non-stop. A good thing really, but I was wiped out. I got home, made dinner for the guys and then went to meet my friend at QEQM in Margate. Her dad has been admitted and has been in a week now. He is a lovely man. He is 90 next month. My friend has been staying overnight at the hospital with him, not wanting to leave him, not knowing if he'll get home.
I went over to give her a bit of support, a gin and tonic and some chocolate. We laughed together and we cried together. It's such a horrible time for her.
