6 days of side events for the UN Commission on the Status of Women has been wonderfully enlightening.

Plus a friend regaled us last night of his first 6 weeks in Kabul. Many tales... including of the Nuristani people, who were genetically tested to show a fairly direct line from Alexander the Great. I must get to that part of the world.
