Oh no

This was an immediate reaction to IV Zofran (Ondansetron), an anti-nausea drug that I take frequently because of my GI problems. It doesn't have the sedative side effects or the long term neurologic side effects that the other drugs have, so it has been my safest anti-nausea drug option... Until now.

Fortunately, the hives were gone 40 minutes after IV Benedryl (diphenhydramine). But I have been too scared to risk taking the oral version of this drug ever since. Especially since I had a horrendous asthma attack at a clinic sparked by dog hair. It seems like the allergic spectrum of my immune system seems rather fired up lately.
