Back on the bike

I haven't been on my bike for about five years. After a nasty fall about ten years ago I slowed down. When we were in Barcelona for a stop on a cruise we went on a "gentle, escorted 12k bike ride on bike paths" around the city. Well it was about 12k but gentle? No way. We had to fight lorries reversing, old ladies with little dogs, tourists and finally rode down La Ramblas the Main Street. I really didn't enjoy it and haven't ridden since.
I chose this in favour of pretty beach and lighthouse scenes as it was pretty significant getting me back in the saddle.
