Eclipse filter

Having spent the last two days reminding the kids of the dangers of looking at the sun, Mr B and I spent the morning on the terrace gazing at it. Having no appropriate camera filters or welding glass handy, I had arranged for a special high level water-based filter to be installed for the day.... This is the local peak of eclipseness.

And now I'm in the lounge at Toulouse airport with some of the things I need for my weekend away (I have the fudge, girls) and a parsimonious half glass of champagne as I will be driving later.
