Ground photography

I got a little muddy taking this shot, but really, she wasn't going to move for me, so on the ground it was.  I never quite know if these are dung or oil beetles - I was once told (I always am) but now I've sadly forgotten.  For most of my life I've wanted to keep a wildlife diary - but do you think I do?  Nope!  And I always think it's just too late to start it... but it's not, really, is it? This shot was taken in South Cornwall and yes, it is a back blip :) x
