Albion Road / Partial Eclipse of the Cigs
Spring equinox, partial solar eclipse AND a partial eclipse of the Cigs. All on the one day? In Leith? Wow...
Visible with the naked eye (no high tech glasses required) from approximately 0847 until 0936, this rare astral phenomenon was seen by practically nobody such was the disinterest of the native Leithers.
Then the sun disappeared behind the flats opposite and in an instant it was gone.
White pen on blue door; capitals, single sweeping underline, triple stripe above. AND encircled to add the sensation of a planetary body.
Not visible again until 2037.
GMT.
Then we went off and a had a guided tour of Easter Road stadium by the bloke sweeping up the dust around the back of the south stand.
