Blinded By The light

BB was up early today and demanding to wear shorts to school.  It must be spring!  Hopefully that is him back in shorts – as he is down to his last pair of school trousers, having ripped the knees of the others.

BB is just away for his big adventure weekend.  He got on the bus and didn’t even say cheerio!  Last night he came back from cubs very excited about his trip and he was still excited this morning.  He told us that each room had its own bathroom with a shower and a toilet.  He then asked if he would need to use the shower!!

I had to run around doing a few chores after school drop off- the hardest of which was to find BB a pair of gloves.  He is not a boy who wears gloves (or hats or scarves) – ever!  Whenever he has a pair they are lost almost immediately.  Of course this is the wrong time of year to buy gloves, but I did manage to find a set of two pairs of girls gloves reduced to £1.50.  One pair is plain black.  He will never know!  His bag is packed to stretching point and he will never get it all back in.

TT and I have a peaceful weekend ahead and the world is our oyster.  I am away to pack my bags!
