Splish Splash

After several days of murky weather the promised storm has arrived.

After Pilates, we went shopping and just as we set off back home, the heavens opened.    It took only a few minutes for the roads to be awash.   

This is taken from the car and the water splashing up from the gutter as we drove along.

We are home safe and dry - thank goodness for the underground garage parking!   It seems to have baited now and is calm, although there still remains an odd rumble of Thunder.

In for the day now except dog walking.  No cooking as I bought a ready cooked pork shoulder, potatoes and veg from our new Carrefoure - a new range.
