Eclipsed
This morning it was just grey, the cloud was thick and heavy leaving a dull featureless sky. I (Chris) didn't bother to take anything much in the way of photography gear with me to work. I was somewhat surprised to find we could see something through the clouds around 9.30am so this was a quick shot through the office window with the longest lens I had, 85mm. The clouds did a great job of acting as a bonus extra filter allowing a reasonable exposure, it did look quite dramatic but I'm sure many blippers better prepared and in areas with clearer skies will have got much nicer images. Hope no one burnt out their sensor! At least we saw it!
