End of the eclipse

Suddenly at 9.15 am the rooks and crows started flying round in a very agitated manner as the world began to darken.

By 9.30 am they had settled in the trees again. After the eclipse all the birds started singing again. 

I think the surprise was that it did not get as dark as we expected.
