To Continue...

To continue the story I told yesterday about our amazing visit to Jaromerice in the Czech Republic in 1998 when we spent two days with the Hrda family... This is the gift that the family gave us when we left. (the wall hanging, not the cat) Stanislav made this when he was in high school. It is made of inlaid woods. There were a number of these in the house when we were there and both Arvin and I were delighted with them and said so. We had no idea that they would give us one of them when we left. Both of us were really touched by this gift. We will be visiting with them in May and we are all really looking forward to the visit.

After that visit we are traveling to Prague for the last week of our trip. We hope to meet our good friends from Holland when we are there. Due to a family emergency that might not happen. We feel so much for them right now and send our love. Of course we hope that they are able to come to meet us after all... we shall see.

To photograph the wood art piece I put it near Duma to show its size and coloring. It matches his orange fur quite nicely I think.
