Oil Derrick

I'm kind of feeling a bit like I'm being drilled.  So tired today.  I have wanted to get some shots of old derricks but haven't managed to do so.  This one is fairly new.  One of the things that always kind of struck me as odd was that these things are everywhere here.  Shopping mall parking lots, residential neighborhoods.  They dot the landscape everywhere.  Of course they have bigger platforms off the coast as well.  In some ways they are actually kind of beautiful and in others they are like a form of pestilence.  So here I gave it a grainy dark treatment.
