The late train

On our way to the next campsite on the canal near Chester, we stopped off at this long closed station at Hadlow Rd, which has been restored to how it was in 1952 & as the sign said "only the travellers & staff are missing" (and trains too!)

We went on to visit Ness Botanical Gardens which was beautiful, full of rhodedendrons, azaleas & lots of exotic plants. There was also a little hot house tropical rememberance garden to FEPOW (Japanese prisoners of war) of which MrT's dad was one & also my uncle so we found it quite poignant.
