Sunspot 2303

We woke up to a very cloudy sky so I didn't anticipate seeing the eclipse, but as I got off the bus, the clouds parted long enough for me to get a glimpse.   You can even see sunspot number 2303 - the little black speck at about 10 o'clock.

By lunch time the sky had cleared and was very sunny, so I went to the beach for a cheeky glass of the pink stuff with Clarie, my friend from work - unfortunately it was the last time as she moves to our new office in Worthing next week :-(

Then tonight I called to see Elif, who has a new puppy - she's a sister of our boys and is very cute, and looks so tiny compared to our two!  We've just had an Indian takeaway, and now I'm about to pack my case.  I'm flying to Barcelona very early tomorrow morning to stay with my friend Christina, who I haven't seen since we both left Belgium 18 months ago.  We've got a lot of catching up to do!

Anyway, I'd better get on - hope you have a good weekend!
