The Clips

P was very excited when I picked her up from nursery this evening. "Mummy, mummy, did you see the clips today?"

It was a lovely sunny day and perfect eclipse view conditions. I popped out from the office for a bit and joined the crowd gathered in the square. It was quite eerie as the shadow came over. It wasn't dark but it wasn't really light either. I was lucky to find myself standing next to a lady who had prepared a pinhole camera for the event and she let me have look. Thanks nice lady!

The children weren't allowed out to watch the eclipse but they learnt all about the sun and the moon and what was happening.
A has had a great day at nursery too. He's been chatting loads and saying "weeeee!" when he went down the slide. When he saw P through the window he then popped his head round the door frame and was saying "bee boo!" and giggling at her. So wish I could have seen them.
