It's Spring!

Exciting day today - first day of spring and a partial solar eclipse! We didn't think we were going to see it at all because it was so cloudy. Orla was very put out about the fact she was missing her first solar eclipse - "there won't be another one for fifteen years, when I'll be 21!". But, after we'd put her in school we sat on a bench on the golf course and at totality the clouds parted and we got a great view. We took some video and showed it to Orla when she got home from school.

It was a perfect evening for walking home, beautiful evening sunshine. Although, it took us half an hour because I let Conor walk and he wasn't very focussed; lots of off-roading and picking up sticks and stones. Orla wanted us all to be dinosaurs. I'm looking forward to more evening walks home.
