Happiness

Today is the International Day of Happiness and how better to spend it celebrating this lovely couple's wedding.
Post eclipse ( Oooh my eyes) A totally wonderfully random day that had the wedding party stravegling from a boozy lunch at The Scotsman up the Royal Mile to Lothian Chambers. Stunning building with amazing light shining through the cupolas onto the cornices. So, we might have turned up a bit late, and a bit squiffy, so we didn't make the best impression on the celebrant. Particularly when we lost the bride and three of us volunteered to stand in. Not amused.
Rather Fawlty Towers and utterly hilarious when she innocently asked 'What's the wee one's name?' ' ....Wild Mutt'. She did not know what bunch of posh hillbillies had crashed into her chambers. No sense of irony humour or the surreal. Too funny

Until we came to the vows and tears were shed. You forget what a journey these two have been on the get here and it was overwhelmingly touching. Love, it's a funny thing.

Returned to a lovely afternoon with tea, cakes galore and prosecco on tap whilst half the village came by. Perfect day. Happy times.
