I'm blue...

Yes, it's another flower but no, it isn't a daffodil.

The eclipse didn't happen today, but the entire school still went out onto the field, equipped with eclipse viewers. The thick cloud meant that it didn't even get dark. What a swizz!

So you get this instead.

I have had a bit of a photographic eye-opener today though: I lent my cheapy 50mm lens to one of my students this afternoon and he came back with a stunning macro shot: pin sharp and with beautiful bokeh.

Hmm.  I'll have to have another play with it. This particular lens doesn't always want to talk to my camera and frankly, I got fed up with it. Consequently, I rarely use it, especially as my 90mm is more versatile. 

We'll see... watch this space!
