Moominvalley in November.

We had our Book group at the Portrait Gallery this morning and for the first time everyone was there! It's most unusual and I have to admit I'm really rubbish and only turn up every few months (to the point where MrN thought I was MsInk's imaginary friend 'cos he'd never met me) so it was lovely to have everyone together and catch up with folks I've not seen for ages - Smu and I haven't been at the same meeting in about 6 months!

It was Smu's choice this time with Moominvalley in November which we all found a bit strange reading in the blazing sunshine this past week! I've never read any Moomins before - although vaguely remember the TV Series from when I was really small - and had thought they were books for wee kids (not that I have any problem with reading kids books, have a bookcase full of them) but they really aren't. This was utterly enchanting and particularly dark and twisty, I absolutely loved it! Definitely going to be getting all the others now :)
