A day at the beach
At long last, a weekend of sunshine with no interruption from the rain. The good thing about moving your weekend life to a seaside town is that you can make a decision to go to the beach and have your feet on the sand within 10 minutes. Made it down to the beach before most of the crowds this morning and enjoyed a long walk to the end of the beach where tourists don't seem to realise exists. The tide was so far out we thought we could walk across the inlet all the way to Tentsmuir but not knowing anything about tides or where to get the bus home as a last resort we turned around and headed back along the beach. As well as lots of buckets, spades and sandcastles the beach was occupied by a lot of kite powered buggies (I'm sure there is an official sporting term for it).
